MA Interactive Multimedia 2005, LCC / August 16 / 21:57

Can't believe time flies so fast. The previous entry was published here 3 months ago sharp!

The outcome of my application process was available June, 4 immediately after the telephone interview with Alan Sekers, MA/PgDip Interactive Multimedia course leader. And it took me more than two months to realize my luck and share the big news with the world ;).

Ok. I'm happy to announce that I'm a student at MA Interactive Multimedia (2005-06), London College of Communication. The course starts in October and all the potential students have already been asked to complete a pre-induction exercise by that time. The task seems rather simple—"an interactive description of me, my life and my interests". But the qualities for this brief—"informative, courageous, entertaining, generous, inventiveness"—will sure require some reflection and meditation before performing any practical steps. I'd prefer to create something rather simple but pretty meaningful in terms of content and technology. Well, we'll see how it goes…

Speaking of the course I can't help mentioning the brand new edition of the course's site. Brilliant in both the content and the style, clean and accessible, it's wrapped in valid XHTML and CSS. The site was designed by the MA IM graduates 1998-99 and 2003-04. Great job, guys!

Now. The whole id-as.com project is at the crossroads currently. Alan told me the course is highly intensive being a five-days-a-week thing. This means I'll hardly have time to maintain two blogs in two languages as I've been trying to do lately. On the other hand I'd be happy to post on my life and studies in London regularly. There are three choices: I'll have to cancel both blogs, I'll have to cancel one of them and finally, I'll keep on posting on both but pretty irregular (the current state of things here, actually ;).

Well. Time will tell. Definitely.

Making for London / May 16 / 19:07

No, it won't be @media 2005 unfortunately. I'd be most happy to attend the event with all those stars and unique people appearing, but I seem not to be able to accommodate my working schedule to this. Pity.

What I'm talking about here is quite a happy thing for me anyways. I'm a British Chevening Awards 2005-06 winner with this brilliant opportunity to take a design oriented MA course in London! The course is one year long and starts in September or October 2005.

Frankly, I still don't believe my luck but all the necessary papers confirming the fact are here and they are real!

Now I'm at the stage of preparing and sending my application forms to the chosen colleges which include Camberwell College of Arts, London College of Communication and Goldsmiths College. The courses I'm interested in are Interactive Media, Digital Arts, Design.

I will surely publish the final outcome of my application process here. Meanwhile, I'd be more than happy to hear from you in case you have studied in any of the above mentioned institutions or have some information concerning the chosen courses.
